Beloveds when you lose your job, your contract ends, or you're "restructured" out of existence, the first thing that disappears isn't just your income. It's your voice, your identity, your total being appears to melt away!🙏🏾✨💖

You stop speaking up in professional circles because you're no longer "in the room." You hesitate to share your wins because you think you're rebuilding from scratch. You question your worth because the institutions that once validated your expertise have removed your seat at the table.

One year ago, my corporate contract ended. P**f - the door closed! After 16 years of delivering excellence in financial services - no new doors opened!😕

I thought I was alone. I was wrong!!

Between February and November 2025, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined, according to recent labor force analysis published in Fortune (November 22, 2025). Earlier in the year, reports showed 300,000+ Black women displaced between February and April alone. By November, that number had nearly doubled. We are not experiencing a "blip" in employment data. We are witnessing a structural crisis—one that requires us to gather, speak truth, and shift the power dynamic together.

This is why, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 9pm, I'm launching Sacred Salon Conversations on JoyFlow TV—a monthly gathering where we no longer suffer in silence, no longer remain sidelined, and no longer accept erasure.

🔥 URGENT: A Silent Crisis for Black Women in the Workforce — Especially 45–55 🔥

Beloved Sis… we need to talk.📞😮‍💨📳

While the world is celebrating holiday lights and year-end wins, over 300,000 Black women have been pushed out of the workforce in 2025 alone. Estimates now between 315k to 350k!!!

Many of us are between 45–55 — the daughters, mothers, aunties, sisters, vision-holders, and wisdom-carriers of our communities.

📉 Unemployment for Black women just spiked to 7.5%, rising faster than any other group.

💔 DEI programs are being dismantled.

✂️ Public sector cuts — where Black women have historically held strong — are wiping out entire career paths.

👩🏾‍🎓Our professions are now being reclassified and labeled as unprofessional.

💸 And these losses have pulled $37 BILLION out of the U.S. economy.

This isn’t a statistic.
This is a crisis.
This is OUR crisis.

And we’re not going to suffer in silence.

Black women are being hit the hardest in the 2025 layoffs, restructuring, and corporate shifts.

300K+ layoffs; 600k economically sidelined and impacted😣🤯😳

Thousands across DFW.
Hundreds of thousands across the country.
And the holiday season only intensifies the pressure to “hold it all together.”

But the truth is:
✨ many are grieving career loss
✨ rebuilding identity
✨ managing financial stress
✨ feeling spiritually and emotionally drained
✨ and navigating these transitions alone
