Shawn Heath began his construction career as a teenager working for his family-owned business in Las Cruces, NM. While attending New Mexico State University he was employed by the family’s heavy civil excavation company where he continued

to advance in his construction business. After several years of working for the family business Shawn expanded his knowledge by working for large utility companies in Austin, TX, Tucson, AZ, and Tempe, AZ. In 2010 Shawn formed Heath & Co., LLC with the help and support of many people and began to grow and has evolved into a medium sized civil construction company that

Through the direction of the team, Heath & Co., LLC General Contractors strives to stay one step ahead of the competition through various means. We stay on the forefront of technology for our industry by using state of the art surveying and analysis software, GPS systems for tracking grades, and practicing customer focused estimating and management. A great deal of time is spent with our customers during the pre-construction phase of a project to ensure that the project is being delivered in the most efficient manner. Construction always starts with a well devised plan and requires the ability to adapt to changing environments, material types, design revisions, and ongoing operations. Our experienced team with specialized experience in multiple markets and industry areas understands client needs and how we can help them achieve goals within time frames and budgets that help their business. Staff Development
Staff development is an important part of the culture at Heathco. We are continually striving to promote growth and advancement and always trying to fill open positions by promoting from within. Our proven training programs have allowed many field employees to move up to management positions. Continuing education is encouraged for all employees and our team works tirelessly on developing creative employee retention plans to keep the staff strong. We spend a great deal of our time and effort recruiting students from Engineering and Construction colleges of various universities throughout the West.
