It is a sad day when We have been doing business with First Light Federal Credit Union for over 17 years as a Federally licensed gun dealer. They have now decided not to allow us to have a bank account with them. As their letter to us and I quote" We have found that the line of business that you are operating is not consistent with our policies and mission that we have established as a community, membership-based Credit Union." This coming from the original Fort Bliss Federal Credit Union. What's next? You get denied a transaction or purchase if it doesn't follow their policy or mission. Sad day indeed. Oh by the way they called to apologize yesterday and claimed it was the new Federal banking regulations that would be too cumbersome to implement. Wondering what the truth is really.
