Yes, at NewGen Families, we help create families. But what happens after those families are created?

We believe being part of the family building community is just as important as helping families begin their journeys.

This past weekend, our founder, Damien, had the opportunity to attend an event with HelpUsAdopt.org and GWK Academy, connecting with others who share our passion for building, supporting, and celebrating families.

At NewGen, we believe our involvement shouldn’t stop once a family is created. It’s about continuing to show up, building meaningful relationships, supporting important causes, and being part of a community that makes a difference.

A pre-birth order is one of those parts of surrogacy you may not hear much about until you’re actually in the journey. 💙

It helps establish legal parentage and provides clarity around what happens at the hospital, birth records, parental authority, and the surrogate’s legal status once baby arrives.

The process can look different depending on where your journey takes place, whether donor genetics are involved, and the laws that apply. That’s why intended parents and surrogates have their own independent legal representation throughout the process.
