Nestled away amid the hustle and bustle of Centennial Centre, Daniel Gilbert’s MVP Barbershop provides a quiet place to get away and enjoy one of the perks of life – a quality haircut at a reasonable price with friendly conversation. The business is one of the newest additions to the Hobart economy, opening up last fall in the same building occupied by Team 1848 Basketball (740 Centerline Drive – adjacent to the water tower along Highway 29). Gilbert moved his business from Appleton in part due to the relationship he had with Harry Boyce of Team 1848, and due to the fact that he is only barbershop in the area. Seniors and veterans pay only $18 for a haircut – right now, high school and middle school students who show their ID’s receive $5 off a haircut. Welcome to Hobart, Daniel and MVP Barbershop!!
