Watch the video with the sound on. 🔈 We got to demonstrate with our friend Melanie the importance of water safety for dogs for . I always make sure to put a life jacket and leash on Freyja when we kayak. You should do the same for your dogs because:
• Life jackets keep your dog from submerging underwater, especially if they’re not a strong swimmer. 🚫🏊♀️
• A leash will help you quickly pull your dog back to you if they fall overboard, so keep them tethered. This is extremely important if you’re on a boat as dogs have died from getting ran over. 😭🛳
We hope these tips help save some dogs’ lives. 💙 I couldn’t imagine losing Freyja, especially if I know I could have prevented it.
