BEC Environmental, Inc., a Nevada small business established in Las Vegas in 2002, provides professional environmental services for natural resource projects throughout the Western United States! Our multi-disciplinary team includes biologists, environmental resource specialists, earth scientists, geologists, and outreach specialists. We tailor our services to meet the project, scheduling, and budgetary needs of each client, while being mindful of project objectives and compliant with regulatory requirements. Our services include, but are not limited to:

Meet Danielle Collins!
Danielle is an Environmental Scientist at BEC Environmental, bringing a diverse range of field and regulatory experience to our team. Her work includes Mojave desert tortoise presence/absence surveys, fence inspections, and construction monitoring, as well as supporting regulatory compliance and resource management activities along the Lower Colorado River.

When she’s not in the field, Danielle enjoys camping, reading, watching hockey, and exploring the outdoors with her dogs.

We’re fortunate to have Danielle’s expertise, enthusiasm, and love of the outdoors on the BEC team!

A remote stretch of highway along State Route 361 between Gabbs and Middlegate, Nevada, is planned for realignment to move public traffic outside of the U.S. Navy’s Fallon Range Training Complex. The project will help maintain safe, reliable transportation between these two communities while supporting the continued use of the training complex.

BEC Environmental is proud to have teamed with CA Group to assist the U.S. Department of Defense and the Nevada Department of Transportation through feasibility and baseline environmental studies. Our work helps provide the information needed to evaluate the project and plan for its successful implementation.

BEC Environmental was pleased to support the City of Las Vegas in completion of Share Westside, a workforce multifamily housing development in the Historic Westside of Las Vegas Nevada.

Located at the northeast corner of Jefferson Avenue and D Street, Share Westside is part of ongoing revitalization of the area and will bring much-needed housing and new economic opportunities to an underserved area of the community. The development will also support the growth of neighborhood amenities, including new dining establishments.

We’re excited to share this great work by Get Outdoors Nevada!

BEC Pollinator Specialist Vivian Sam recently participated in Get Outdoors Nevada’s Seed Workshop, sharing her expertise with volunteers about pollination ecology and the diverse native pollinators of the Mojave Desert.

Native plants and pollinators are an essential part of healthy desert ecosystems. By understanding the relationships between plants and pollinators, we can make more informed decisions about habitat restoration, conservation, and the plants we bring into our communities.
BEC is honored for the opportunity to support opportunities that connect people with the unique ecology of the Mojave Desert and inspire greater appreciation for the plants and wildlife that call it home.

As part of a site assessment, the team tested both impacted and seemingly undisturbed areas near known petroleum and diesel spill locations to evaluate potential contaminant migration and support accurate environmental characterization.

Soil sampling helps environmental scientists identify and evaluate contaminants or hazardous materials, including heavy metals, that may be present at a site. In this photo, Certified Environmental Manager Stefanie Costa Rica of BEC Environmental, Inc. collects a soil sample using a hand auger as part of a site investigation.
