The easiest way to create visual calm in your closest is to use 1-2 hanger styles and not more than that. As a smaller person with smaller clothes, I use a kid’s hanger for my pants and smaller tops and then a regular size hanger. The hook of the hanger must also be the same size and color - it’s about symmetry.

MOVE MANAGER - A person who acts on your behalf to handle any or all aspects of your relocation or local move. From packing the house, returning the cable boxes, vetting the moving companies, discarding and donating all items (regardless of size), getting consignment items to the shoppe of your choice, managing all vendors involved and handling it all whether you are present or not.
This client had to start his job in NC within days, so he packed a couple suitcases and left the house with everything in it. We use video calls and photos to fine tune the communications for what gets packed, donated, sold or trashed.

NASMM.org is another source specifically for Senior Move Managers that are reliable and are bound by code of ethics.

IKEA is sold out of their longer Linnmon desktop but they had over 50 of the 48” tabletop. Here’s a great Covid-home-office-in-the-living-room solution when you need a long desk and you don’t want your knees to hit the legs.
3 legs on each tabletop + 1 more that splits both + 3 footlong support brackets. Very sturdy! Predrill new screw placements!!

I know everybody is excited about the new Netflix show with the ladies from The Home Edit - just keep in mind that they have assistant’s and a production crew. The costs for that level of help is well in the few-several $100’s per hour range, and that’s without Editing time because most of the celebrity projects don’t have any editing.

Another expectation to manage is that if you want a Pinterest-look finish, the costs associated with all the various containers and accessories will also be in the few-several $100’s price range. I’m big on repurposing, so we do that whenever possible.
NAPO-member organizers usually have a TCS discount they may pass on to clients... another reason to hire a NAPO Pro!

My work, while in your home, is typically done by myself in cases where the clutter is above average. I’m still working for the few who absolutely need me, wearing mask and gloves at all times.
