I've finally uploaded my own "very own jingle" to my website. Go to www.yourveryownjingle.com and it will play automatically, but only on Explorer and Firefox. The music doesn't play right on Chrome or Safari...We're working on it.

May I interrupt your newsfeed for a little rant? Is it just those of us who live and breathe music? I am so peeved at the current Amica insurance commercial. Doesn't anyone else realize that the music in it is the exact tune to the line "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly"? Do they think that because they changed the rhythm of the notes and made it stilted, it isn't the same tune?? Shame on the person in charge of that ad campaign. I know the song must be far out of copyright, but for a few seconds of music, you'd think they'd be creative and original!

My jingle for Dr. Michael Jacobs is running all this weekend on Las Vegas's GREAT oldies station, KDOX AM 1280, simulcast on KOOL Oldies 102.3 FM. You can stream it online at mms://wms2.mainstreamnetwork.com/kdox-am if you're not here in town, or go to KOOL1023.com. Today the spots run at 10:39am, 11:38am, 1:23pm, 2:49pm, 4:23pm, 5:39pm, 6:38pm, 7:38pm, 8:49pm, and 9:38pm, Pacific time. They start out with a voiceover talking about health issues for about 40 seconds, so don't fall asleep before the jingle plays. :-)

My new client has just opened the "Everybody Must Get Scones" cafe inside the Euphoria salon in the Boca Park shopping center here in Las Vegas. Now you can enjoy fresh bakery food and delicious beverages while you wait for your spa appointment...and you'll soon be able to get her preservative-free yummies at Whole Foods. I'll be posting the jingle here after her grand opening on Friday.
