Reliability ✔️ Performance ✔️

Sandia engineers, along with National Nuclear Security Administration, conducted a series of stockpile tests in which inert units of the B61-12 nuclear gravity bomb were successfully carried and dropped by an F-35 aircraft, marking a significant milestone in evaluating the weapon’s performance.

“These B61-12 F-35A stockpile flight tests and captive carry flight test were the capstone accomplishment of a tremendous amount of planning and effort by those who were involved across not only Sandia, but many other agencies,” said Sandia’s Jeffrey Boyd, surveillance lead for the B61-12 and B61-13.

💸 This CEO gave up his $1.1M salary so his team could earn a living wage. The result? Revenue tripled.

In 2015, Dan Price, founder of Gravity Payments, made waves by slashing his own $1.1 million salary to just $70k to implement a $70,000 minimum wage for all employees at his company.

What began as a moral stand, which was prompted by a conversation with a friend struggling to afford a $200 rent hike, became a bold challenge to traditional business values.

Price realized that while he’d been chasing financial benchmarks, his team was sacrificing basic needs like running water, stable housing, and the ability to start families.

The $70K decision liberated employees from survival-mode thinking, enabling them to fully serve clients and live with dignity. Gravity Payments became a test case in whether businesses can thrive while centering humanity over profit margins.

He extended the same minimum wage to all employees of ChargeItPro, a company Gravity Payments acquired in 2019.

Whether this becomes a one-off story or the spark of a broader business revolution remains to be seen, but it has undeniably shifted the conversation around corporate responsibility and success.
