After going to Vancouver BC, Portland OR, the third stop of this 7 day journey was Las Vegas. My brother and his wife had planned a family vacation which included his family, my mom, a friend of the family and myself. It was an opportunity for everyone to relax. While there we drove through Red Rock Canyon which is one of my favorite places to visit in the Vegas area.

After my conference in Vancouver I rode the train down to Portland, OR for the weekend. You might be wondering why Portland I just wanted to unplug and see someplace new because it had been almost 20 years since the last time I was there. Portland is a great city lots to see and do there especially if you like the outdoors. While there I took time to visit some of the normal tourist spots as well see some of the stunning waterfalls in the area.

The past year and a half have been challenging so when the opportunity to attend a Kajabi conference in Vancouver popped up I said yes. The conference was great, having the chance to learn new things and connect with other likeminded people is always a plus. In addition to the conf it was good to get out of the DFW and explore a new city.

It is with heavy hearts that Raamel and I share the passing of our father Melvin Mitchell on December 27, 2024, at 4:15 PM. He was a great father, friend, mentor, leader, teacher, companion, helper, and much more to us, our friends and family members. Dad miss you dearly.

A couple weeks ago while traveling for work I had the opportunity to visit the Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center in Cambridge, MD. While there I learned more about Harriet Tubman and those who supported her in efforts to free those enslaved. If you are in the area take some time to visit and support the museum.
