Hey folks, given the current COVID craziness, homeschooling, etc. wreaking havoc on all our schedules, I was thinking about offering quick, one-off coaching sessions of pre-recorded material, so no one has to worry about matching schedules, etc.

I'm thinking about calling it "Asynchronous Coaching" - what do you all think, is this a service that folks might be interested in?

Whether it’s help with a scene, a character, or maybe a demo review – when you want coaching, but don’t want the hassle of trying to coordinate schedules, this is the option for you.

INTRODUCING SOMETHING NEW!

tl;dr - I’ll review your narrator website and tell you exactly what needs to be fixed/changed and how to do it.

A new service coming soon to Fostering Characters - while I offer the downloadable video that covers the general principles of a “good” audiobook narrator website, some folks just want someone to look at their site and tell them exactly what they need to add/tweak/drop/keep... well, okay!

I’ll be offering Audiobook Narrator Website Heuristic Evaluations.

What’s a “heuristic evaluation”? In brief, I’ll go through your whole site, create a brief report of what’s working for you and what isn’t, and deliver specific feedback on what and how to change/fix things, in a prioritized order from “most critical” to “this could be better.” Then I’ll go through that report with you via video conference, to make sure you understand everything and answer your questions. Finally, after you’ve made your changes (or had your web-person make them), I’ll take another look at your site and shoot you an email going over how you did, and any next steps you should take.
