Turtle Safe MR16 LEDs for coastal lighting that won't disturb local wildlife!

These MR16 lamps emit a wavelength of 590-595 nm when set to TURTLE MODE, protecting hatchlings and mothers during breeding season.

Our new Turtle Safe MSDPRO, adjustable path light modules are here!

Ships on TURTLE MODE, but can be adjusted to 2700K using our patent-pending MSDPRO/CCT functionality. 🐢

When set to TURTLE MODE, this path light module emits a wavelength of between 590-595 nm, above the lowest threshold of 560 nm, to be considered "wildlife safe".

Why is this important? 🐢
Animals like sea turtles rely on the natural light of the moon and stars reflecting off the ocean to find their way. Bright, white artificial lights can lead them away from the sea and toward roads, swimming pools, or predators. Turtles are most sensitive to short-wavelength light (blue/white). So by using long-wavelength bulbs that emit amber, orange, or red light (typically 560 nanometers or higher), you can ensure you're doing your part to keep the local wildlife safer!

So for all those coastal properties, especially along Florida's coast, make sure you remember the turtles, and switch to TURTLE MODE lighting!

Now available on MSDPRO path light modules and MSDPRO MR16 lamps!

Our new turtle safe products all ship default on their lowest setting and on TURTLE MODE. This emits am amber colored light with wavelenths between 590-595 nm, ensuring not to disturb migrating wildlife. (To be considered "wildlife safe" your lights must emit a wavelength >560nm.)

With both our Turtle Safe Modules and MR16s, you can switch between TURTLE MODE/2700K CCT. This means that during turtle off-season, when they're not migrating or breeding, the paths or lamps can be switched to a 2700K CCT instead.
