Today I had the privilege of pouring into students from three local high schools on one simple but powerful topic:

Teamwork.

Standing in that room, I didn’t just see teenagers. I saw future leaders. Future parents. Future business owners. Future community builders.

We talked about what real teamwork looks like:
Showing up.
Owning your role.
Communicating clearly.
Building trust.
Choosing unity over ego.

What impacted me most wasn’t just their attention. It was their honesty. Their willingness to reflect. Their openness to grow.

When young people understand that their attitude, words, and consistency affect others, something shifts. They begin to step into responsibility. They begin to lead themselves.

Leadership development must begin early. If we teach them how to build trust and work together now, we strengthen the future.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do.

The next generation is ready. We just have to invest in them.

As 2025 comes to a close and we step into 2026, I pause with gratitude.

Grateful for the leaders who stayed the course.
Grateful for the teams who kept showing up when it was hard.
Grateful for the growth that came through both the victories and the stretching seasons.

This year taught us something.
Leadership is not built in comfort.
It is formed in commitment.
In consistency.
In the quiet decision to keep moving forward.

Some of you rebuilt this year.
Some of you healed.
Some of you stepped into new levels of responsibility.
Every step mattered.

Scripture reminds us,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

That promise still stands as we enter a new year.

2026 is not about rushing.
It is about alignment.
Clear vision.
Healthy leadership.
Strong teams.
And work that carries meaning.

🦅 Leadership and Legacy in Action

What an incredible day! I had the privilege of providing a Leadership Development course for 20 amazing executive leaders — and during our time together, I shared the story of The Chicken and the Eagle.

To my surprise and delight, many of these leaders were so moved that they purchased copies of the book on the spot! 🙌

It’s beautiful to see how this simple story continues to soar — now landing in the hands and hearts of children, grandchildren, and families through these leaders who believe in its message of identity, purpose, and faith.

I’m truly thankful to the Lord for every opportunity to inspire others and see how a story meant for children can touch the hearts of adults and leaders alike. 💖
