What happens when the brain decides that what we have is good enough and simply stops looking for optimal?

The answer is what I call The 6.

It's not a crisis or a failure, just a life that works well enough that the brain never sounds the alarm.

Comfortable enough to stay but not fulfilling enough to feel fully alive.

Herbert Simon coined it in 1956 and won a Nobel Prize partly because of it. It describes something most of us do every single day without realizing it.

It is the reason successful people choose stay in lives that are just good rather than going for what could be great (yes, it is a choice).

Why we settle for satisfactory vs searching for the BEST option.

Anna had a vision most people would talk themselves out of.

Not just a course or a program, but a full movement.

Something that would multiply her impact in a way that most founders often think about but rarely attempt.

She knew exactly what she wanted to build and had been trying for years to get it off the ground.

She had hired the people she thought could get her there. Spent a lot of money. And, sadly, none of it gave her any real traction.

When we sat down together the vision was still intact- it had just gotten buried under years of wrong turns, wasted investment, and the weight of running her business at the same time.

We got clear on what the thing actually was, what it needed first, and what was getting in the way.

She was so lit up every time we made progress. I could see the light coming back into her life in real time. That was incredible.

Within a few months she was live and gaining real traction.

And because of the network I have built over 15 years inside this industry, I was able to open a door she had not been able to open on her own- a direct invitation to ClickBank headquarters to work with their team and tap into an entirely new distribution channel.

The vision was not the problem. It never is.

Something I see often, especially with the people I work with in VIP Strategy Days:
They started as the visionary. You know- the one with the idea, the plan, the direction?

But somewhere along the way, they've become the most overworked person in their own business.

The drift is so gradual you don't notice it until something shakes you and says "HEY! This isn't what you built this for!"

You've had the funnel builders, the CMOs, the strategists, the coaches...

And something is still off.

Here's what I don't see many people talking about:
The best tactics in the world won't produce results if you're not clear on where you're going or what success actually looks like for you.

Funnels, lead magnets, challenges, webinars, paid ads- they're not the problem. But they're also not the answer.

At best they're a bandaid, and bandaids wear off.

The work that actually changes things starts with a decision. Then clarity.
Then alignment.

Everything else just keeps you busy.

It feels like progress. It looks like movement, but if the foundation isn't right (or maybe even missing altogether), you'll stay on the treadmill of limited progress and end up more frustrated than ever.

My dad still has zero idea of what I do. 😂

Even when the path isn't clear, the support of your "home team" (even if they don't quite get what you do yet!) makes all the difference for an entrepreneur.
