One more deep thought for '25

Reconnecting

You may come across some old friends, acquainances via post or parties these next few weeks. I challenge you the reconnect and create relationships

Here is how you reclaim that connection with peak energy:
• Celebrate Their Energy: Start by acknowledging the "spark" you just saw. Tell them, "Seeing you at the party (or wherever you decided to reach out) reminded me of the incredible energy you bring to the world!" (Relate it to a previous experience) or… “Just seeing you reminded me of that crazy game we went to back in college.” Etc.
• Focus on the Progress: Don’t look back at the lost time; look at the growth. Ask, "What are you most passionate about right now?" or "What’s the one thing you’re working on that’s keeping you distracted?”
• Acknowledge Their Standard: Give them a sincere "power-compliment." Tell them you’ve always admired their drive, their heart, or their vision. People rise to the standards we set for them!
• Create Immediate Momentum: Don't leave it to chance. Say, "We can't let another year go by without a real catch-up. Let’s grab a coffee and trade some wins!"
• • End with a Peak State: Leave them feeling unstoppable. Close with, "I’m rooting for you and I know this next year is going to be your best one yet. Let’s make it happen!"

Look, big dawgs—the clock doesn’t reset unless you do.

2025 is almost in the books, but did you just go through the year, or did you grow through it? Stop lying to yourself and get real about the work that you really put in.

Here is a checklist for your 2025 Audit and your 2026 Battle Plan.

Let’s Execute.

2025: The Mirror Test (Audit)

- The "Why" Check: Did you wake up with a purpose every single day, or were you just punching a clock? If your motivation faded, your "Why" wasn't big enough.
- The Receipts: List your wins. Don't be humble—did you hit the targets you set, or are you making excuses for why the scoreboard looks the way it does?
- The Quarter-by-Quarter Grind: Break it down. What was the specific monster you had to slay in Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4? If you didn't face a challenge, you didn't stretch.
- Overcoming the Wall: When things got hard, did you pivot or did you panic? Identify the exact moment you outworked your struggle.
- The Gap: Look at the goal vs. the reality. If there's a gap, own it. Don't blame the economy; blame the effort.

2026: The Battle Plan (Ex*****on)

- Non-Negotiable Standards: We aren't setting "goals" for 2026; we’re setting standards. Decisions, not intentions, get results.
- Reverse Engineer the Win: Don't look at December 2026. Look at Monday morning. What do you have to do in the next 24 hours to make the dream a reality?
- Cut the Dead Weight: Identify the one habit or distraction that held you back in '25 and kill it today. You can't enter a new season with old baggage.
- Quarterly Sprints: We are attacking 2026 in 90-day wars. Win the quarter, win the year. No coasting in the "off-season."
- Obsessive Consistency: Average people work hard when they feel like it. Champions work hard regardless. 2026 belongs to the person who refuses to quit.

IT’S TIME TO EAT… STAY STARVING!

CHARACTER IS MORE THAN TALK!

Anyone can say that he has integrity, but action is the real indicator of character. Your character determines who you are. Who you are determines what you see. What you see determines what you do. That’s why you can never separate a leaders character from his actions. If a leaders actions and intentions are continually working against each other, then look to his character to find out why .
