On Friday 8/28 we returned to this category 3 water loss/mold remediation project that another company started. We removed the affected drywall in the garage, the affected OSB on the water heater platform, and cleaned up the drywall cuts in the laundry room. We will return to complete the work.

On Friday 8/28 we returned to this water loss and started removing the damaged crown molding and drywall. Unfortunately, these items were too damaged to salvage so they are being removed so that we can expedite the drying of the structural lumber. We will return to continue work.

On Friday 8/28 we returned to this category 3 water loss due to a wax ring failure affecting the downstairs ceiling. As expected we ran into some visible mold growth (condition 3). We removed all of the affected drywall, resurfaced the exposed lumber, HEPA vacuumed all the horizontal and vertical surfaces, applied an antimicrobial/biocide spray, then thoroughly wiped everything down. Third party hygienist clearance testing can now be scheduled, once clearance is achieved it will be turned over to our sister company Everest Construction for repairs.

On Thursday 8/27 we returned to this mold project due to an HVAC condensation line leak. The crew removed the rest of the impacted drywall, insulation, and OSB. They then resurfaced the exposed lumber and applied an antimicrobial spray. We will return to continue work.

On Thursday 8/27 we returned to this category 3 water loss/mold remediation project. The property owner fired the company that initially began work and hired us to complete the job. Now that we have completed the engineering controls we can begin the remediation.
