POV: Your photographer tells you to do THAT pose… and you’re like, ‘Be so fr right now.’ 😭📸”
I promise—we’re not trying to make you look awkward.
That pose that feels weird?
That random hand placement?
That “okay, now turn your body THAT way” moment?
The pose where you’re thinking, “There is NO way this is going to look good.” 😭
Trust me.
You see yourself from one angle. I see the entire image—the light, the composition, your movement, your expression, and how everything is coming together.
Some of my favorite senior portraits happen in the moments where my seniors look at me like…
“You want me to do WHAT?” 😂
And then I show them the back of my camera.
“OH. Okay… I get it now.” 👀✨
So don’t worry if a pose feels silly, weird, or totally unnatural.
Trust the process. Trust your photographer. And most importantly, have fun with it.
Because sometimes the pose that feels the most ridiculous ends up being the photo you can’t stop looking at. 🖤📸
