Our approach to avoid "VR Sickness"

At Micronet techno, we are conducting R&D to avoid VR sickness using human biometric informations and AI technology for biomedical engineering field. In our R&D, we developed prototype for avoid VR sickness using heart rate and AI algorithm. This prototype gathering user heart rate and analyse user stress level using AI algorithm, then show up warnings in HMD (Head Mounted Display) to reduce user VR sickness risks. We'll keep improving this prototype and convine other biometric information into this prototype for comfortable user VR experience.

Micronet Techno was founded 17 years ago. Over those past 17 years, we continuously explored possibilities and challenged ourselves. Although we encountered many problems, we overcame them and grew from those experiences.
Currently, we are moving to improve our existing solutions by integrating them with our AI solutions. In addition, we are continuing the global expansion of our business.

Micronet Techno launched the Artificial Intelligence Institute (AI2) to provide AI solutions and R&D in Japan and the USA.
We installed NeuralTalk2 CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) + RNN (Recurrent Neural Network) on the card sized supercomputer Jetson TX1, provided by Nvidia. The AI program recognizes images and creates image captions using CNN and RNN from a connected video camera on Jetson TX1.
