I survived the phone call. the funeral. the weird quiet after everybody stopped checking in.
but the version of me that existed before that loss?
yeah... she's gone too.
grief doesn't always make you "sad" forever. sometimes it just changes you at your core. the way you love. the way you react. the way you look at life.
i still laugh. i still live.
but i'm not the same person i was before it happened.
and i don't think i ever will be again.💔
