Earth busting is an amazing tool we have in our tool box. It can be used to resolve failing drain fields to clearing out pond overflow culverts. It uses compressed air to break apart compact soils to allow water to flow back through soils. Also we can break apart / maintain biomat layer that forms naturally were waste water meets soils. ( biomat is the black layer of microorganisms and organic waste. It is essential to all septic systems in small amounts. It acts as a filter by treating the wastewater by breaking down pathogens , organic matter , and nutrients). But over time it can build up and become an impermeable barrier that does not allow wastewater to pass through and can cause saturated drainfields or cause system to back up. Another close up shot of our new earth buster, this is another option in our arsenal to remedy a drain field and have the soils start taking water again if they are too compacted or saturated. Earth busting is the process of using compressed air to break up or “frac” the ground deep or shallow. This particular unit is the earth buster plus which has the additional ability to inject additives and help breakdown the biomaterials.

We now offer earth busting.
Earth busting is an option we can try before doing a full drain field replacement. Earth busting uses compressed air to break up soils and biomat and allows a saturated drain field to start working again. With the compressed air we can inject an additive to help brake down the biomat that has clogged the soils.

With use of our earth buster and our aquaworxs system we can remediate an old drain field and make it work again

Old concrete tank that baffle wall and lid of septic tank were very deteriorated and cracking. When tank starts deteriorating and cracking the structural integrity of the tank is compromised and due for replacing.
We replaced it with a plastic septic tank.
