Pre- and post-color effects offer two distinct ways to control how color interacts with movement.
In this example, the Hard Linear 90° pre effect maps the color directly to the gobo or builder, allowing the gradient to move with it. Switching the same effect to post keeps the color positioned within the zone while the beam moves through it, creating an entirely different cue with one macro change.

X-Laser gives programmers the flexibility to build detailed fly-out effects using the same familiar tools they already use on their lighting consoles.
By applying effects to pan and tilt, programmers can spread movement across individual lasers, create symmetrical or randomized patterns, adjust speed and range, and even layer in color or dimmer effects for more complex looks.
