PLEASE REPOST THIS!

Douglas County Connections is growing, and we’re looking for local professionals and business owners who want to build genuine relationships, grow their network, and support other businesses in our community.

📍 We meet every Wednesday at 7:00 AM in Lawrence, KS.

We’re currently looking to fill several open business categories and would love to connect with people who are ready to get involved and grow alongside us.

This morning, DCC member Nez Iskandrani with Pure Maintenance of Kansas presented at 1 Million Cups Lawrence alongside Pete Johnson, Manager/Project Manager! 👏☕️

They shared practical insight on what to do when water damage happens, the importance of preventative maintenance, and why proper mold remediation goes beyond removing what you can see.

A big takeaway: remediation means addressing both the affected materials and the air throughout the space—because some of the biggest concerns are the things we can’t see.

We love seeing our DCC members out in the community sharing their expertise, educating others, and helping local businesses and homeowners protect their properties. Great job, Nez and Pete! 💪🏠

A huge thank you to Swing365 Lawrence and Aladdin Cafe for helping make our Douglas County Connections social a great event!

Swing 365 was an incredible host, providing a fun and welcoming environment where many of us got to work on our golf swings, learn a few new skills, and enjoy some friendly competition.

And thank you to Aladdin Café for providing the delicious hummus and refreshments. As always, the food was a hit and helped bring everyone together.

We truly appreciate local businesses that support community connections and networking. Thank you both for helping make the evening a success!

DCC Social this Friday! ⛳️⚾️

We’re getting together for a golf simulator / KU baseball social this Friday and would love to see a great turnout. These events are always a great chance to connect outside of work, meet new people, support local relationships, and just have a good time with the community.

Feel free to bring guests, coworkers, friends, or anyone interested in networking with an awesome group of local professionals and community members.

If you plan on coming, shoot us a message on FB so I can get a rough headcount!
