New Construction - Atkins designed flat bottom sailing skiff. The Atkin design name is W***y Winship.

I started construction of this boat last summer. At the same time I started working part time 2-3 days a week at the shop. She should be launched early this summer

She was originally designed as a 13'9" sailboat. I enlarged her to 15' She is being built with Cedar, Oak, and Mahogany.

Classic Dory for big water, but very maneuverable, and fast enough for water skiing. Great boat for Lake Erie. 327 Chevy engine has been completely rebuilt. New paint inside and out. Trailer included. $6,500 OBO

I installed the new Nautilex decking and reinstalled the deck hardware. The rest of the boat has been owner maintained.

At the end of 2012 I repaired another whitehall. This one was build it our old hometown of Washington, Maine. She is a 12 footer and for rowing only. She had bad plank cracks and was leaking heavily. I repaired the planks and refinished her exterior. The owner reported her perfectly dry upon her relaunch.

Near the end of 2012, I made some repairs to this 30 year old John Gardner Spirit Whitehall. She needed plank repairs, new frames, and her centerboard fixed. She also received new paint and varnish. She has been sold and is now in St. Michael's, MD.
