Today is International Holocaust Day. We honour and remember all those whose lives were forever altered, whether they perished or survived, by the most abhorrent genocide by a cultured and modern nation against a people, men, women, and children, all because they did not like the manner in which they worshipped, or accepted those who had maladies, or others for their sexual preference. The Shoah was predominantly a genocide to rid Europe of Jews- all those of the Jewish faith. On this solemn day of commemoration, our online commemoration invited all in our community of descendants of Holocaust survivors, and Holocaust Survivors, and others, to reflect on and honor the lives of our loved ones. Care for the Caregiver Summit is happening on August 5sth. Can't attend live....don't worry. We set this up with all caregivers in mind. You are the first to see this. I have pulled together 7 speakers who are experts in this area to give us new tools and build our support community. The Summit will be live via Zoom on August 5th -- Thursday, from 9:30AM to 6PM, AND you don't even have to attend live as everyone who signs up will have access to all of the presentations! This means that you can sign up regardless of your schedule or location--- this will be a world-wide event!
