Annual Brickyard 5 Miler and 2.5 mile Fun Run-Walk

Annual Brickyard 5 Miler and 2.5 mile Fun Run-Walk There is a pre-race day fee of $15. All early entrants will be guaranteed a race day t-shirt.

All proceeds will benefit the Lawrenceville Rotary Club's Scholarship Program for high school seniors of Brunswick County. It is a challenging 5-mile course from Lawrenceville Brick Plant #3 and #4 to the Town of Lawrenceville. Course will be marked at each mile and water stops at start, mile 2.5 and mile 4 and at the finish line. ⚠️⚠️COVID-19 RACE UPDATE⚠️⚠️

After much contemplation and in cooperation with the VA Government and Health Officials, we have decided to cancel the Brickyard 5 Miler this year.

As much as we love this race, we care far more for the safety and health of our runners, their families, and our community. We will come back next year stronger than ever.

The Brickyard 5 Miler supports the Rotary Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to local students each year. We were also giving the option to donate to either the Brunswick Senior High or Brunswick Academy Cross Country Teams.

If you’d still like to make a donation to the Scholarship Fund, or the cross country teams, you can send a message to this page or contact Ray Thomas at Brunswick Insurance Agency at (434)848-2112.

We hope to see you all next year.

Calling all runners, walkers, speed walkers, any anyone else!!! The Brickyard 5 Miler and 2.5 Mile Fun Run are right around the corner!!! 🏃 This is a unique and local race that has been going strong for 16 years!!!! We look forward to you and your family joining us this year! 😎

The details::
The race this year will be on April 20, 2019! 👏

The course::
This course is a challenging, but scenic route that takes you from the Lawrenceville Brickyard to Lawrenceville Main Street (totaling 5 miles).

Don't feel as if you can run 5 miles? You can join us for the 2.5 mile run! You still get a T-Shirt and bragging rights 😉

For those that register before race day, the fee is O N L Y $15 🤩 which includes a shirt and a swag bag!!! If you register the day of the race, the registration fee is $20.(Swag bags and shirts are first come, first served... so register early to make sure you get yours).
