Nesting Godmother

Happy Holidays!

It’s been a lot of back and forth.

Am I coming back? When? In what capacity?

Well…yes, I am. Behind the scenes during this major life shift, I’ve been plotting a course that will all pow me to return to Nesting Godmother with consistency, and also continue in this walk of obedience with God as I navigate the newness of life post-divorce.

1. Saying goodbye to a place that I have called home for nearly a decade. My boys were brought home here. Nesting Godmother was birthed here. I returned to me here. It served us well.

2. With the love and support of so many friends and family, I secured a new place to dream, create memories and build the life I desire. I’m so grateful for everyone, but the brightest stars through it all have been my dad and my mom. Through the darkest days and the victorious ones, I thank you for reminding me of who I am and trusting God will always be the best bet.

3. Christmas is my fave holiday and I’ve passed the love for the traditions to my boys. I’m literally living in my prayers. With peace and intention.

4. Admiring the progress…

Once we are settled I’ll have more to share about what’s next for NG. Until then, enjoy your family, move in love, and celebrate the season with hope.

In the midst of a major life shift, God still sees fit to give me opportunity to flex my gifts.

I’m on the other side of a decade long storm. Newly divorced, sorting through multiple job offers in another field I love, and still being able to show up creatively in my own business. I’m beyond grateful.

Where life had me broken and confused for years, God quickly ushered in clarity and direction. All it took was my surrender and trust. He told me what to do over 10 years ago, but operating on fear of being alone, I disobeyed. And, yet He still found me to be worthy of His blessings: my 3 boys, real friendships, a business, and a growth and love of myself as He sees me. Y’all have to understand how joy-filled I am.

Hey Everyone!

I’m reemerging from a semi-fast of these social streets. I paused my business practices and all things outside of my personal life to shift focus.

Privately, hard decisions are being made, chapters being closed, and expectations are being sacrificed for the wholeness of who I’ve been made to be. I have purpose beyond the titles I’ve accepted. I’m in a learning chapter: learning who I am in my deepest, most authentic form, learning my boundaries, learning what love really is internally and externally, and learning to let go.

My return to social will be paced slower than before. I’m taking my time with developing rhythms and discipline that meets me where I am. I will open my books for July bookings beginning 6/2.
