Over the course of her nonprofit career, our founder, Kate, repeatedly observed a sector-wide problem: organizations with strong missions struggling due to leadership misalignment, communication breakdowns, and unaddressed cultural toxicity. This led to the founding of her consultancy, Nontoxic Nonprofits, and, in 2025, the creation of Nonprofit Culture Fest.

Nonprofit Culture Fest, happening April 10, 2026, is an event designed to explore how nonprofit culture is created, sustained, and reshaped using practical tools, real experience, and honest dialogue.
