For more than 55 years, Kerr’s Auction Service has been more than a business—it has been a family tradition built on hard work, honesty, and the relationships we’ve been blessed to build with each of you.
In 1971, our grandfather started Kerr’s Auction Service with a simple vision: serve people with integrity, treat everyone fairly, and build a reputation that would outlive him. Over the decades, that vision has become a legacy that has touched countless families, farms, businesses, and communities. We are incredibly proud to carry that legacy forward.
As times change, businesses must continue to grow and adapt. With that in mind, we wanted to personally share an exciting new chapter for our family.
While Kerr’s Auction Service is not going anywhere, we will be gradually shifting much of our focus toward general merchandise auctions, liquidation, pallet sales, truckload sales, overstock inventory, shelf pulls, customer returns, e-commerce inventory, equipment, tools, business liquidations, estate liquidations, live online auctions, and live in-person auctions.
Although we will still gladly assist with farm equipment, agricultural assets, and other specialty auctions when needed, we will be moving away from the livestock side of the business as our primary focus. This decision wasn’t made lightly. It simply reflects the direction our family business is growing and where we believe we can provide the greatest value to our customers for many years to come.
This new direction also brings together our newest venture, Legacy Liquidators, a business whose name represents exactly what it stands for—a legacy. Legacy Liquidators wasn’t created to replace Kerr’s Auction Service. It was created because of it.
The name “Legacy” is a tribute to our grandfather and the foundation he laid back in 1971. Everything we are building today is because of the values, work ethic, and reputation he instilled in our family. Our goal is to honor what he started while creating something that our own children and future generations can proudly continue.
Moving forward, Kerr’s Auction Service and Legacy Liquidators will work hand in hand, allowing us to offer an even broader range of services, including:

• Wholesale pallet sales
• Overstock and shelf-pull merchandise
• E-commerce and customer return inventory
• Business and estate liquidations
• Farm and equipment auctions
• Live online auctions
• Live in-person auctions
This partnership allows us to better serve businesses, resellers, entrepreneurs, and families while continuing the trusted auction services our customers have known for generations.
