Must pass a SERE Human Factors Psychological Test.
Present a professional and credible image at all times
Preferred:

Graduate of the Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFD-IC), an approved DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC), or other equivalent course (e.g. attended a TRADOC or Special Warfare Center & School (SWCS) approved course) prior to instructing students
Certified to instruct IAW USA SERE School Instructor Certification Program
2 years’ experience as SERE Level C instructor

Responsibilities

Responsible for Contractor employee supervision and administration and represents the Contractor regarding Resistance Training Section business at SERE Detachment meetings requiring Contractor participation.

Required:

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity of similar size and scope, i.e., approximately 50 personnel.

Meet physical fitness requirements specific for the position to include passing urinalysis screening

As a LVCG Instructor II your duties include but are not limited to: integrating the Gaming and Virtual training environments and MTC fielded systems and capacity providing relevant formation centric training support for Soldiers, Crews and Small Unit Formations (platoon, section, squad, convoy and patrol); providing gaming-based small event training that is doctrinally current and operationally relevant to the user. Gaming and Virtual Training are run using the Army’s Games for Training program, VBS3 and any potential follow on for Games for Training and related products. Position requires active Secret security clearance.

SERE Instructors are responsible to conduct all aspects of USAF course S-V88-A, Evasion and Conduct after Capture (ECAC) to include:
- Academic classroom instruction on Evasion and Conduct after Capture
- Laboratory and operational instruction on Escape and Evasion
- Conduct after Capture role play instruction and associated debriefs

Occasional travel required

Requirement: Secret Clearance

ECAC Instructor Qualifications:
- Graduate of USAF SERE Specialist Training, course S-V81-A
or
- Graduate of SERE Level B or C course and at least 2 years formal instruction experience
or
- Significant experience in a military specialty requiring small unit tactics expertise and/or significant experience instructing combat skills
All instructors must possess and maintain:
• Physical, mental and emotional fitness and conditioning necessary to deliver ECAC training
• High personal standards, technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training material
• Familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U.S. Air Force, military rank/grade structure; knowledge of Air Force and military terminology
