QCVN’s mission is to connect transitioning Veterans or under employed Veterans and their families with the Quad Cities Area business community to make connection that lead to future employment. This mission is achieved one conversation at a time and our success is measured one Veteran at a time. Our events have a process with three groups, the job seeker, the employer, and our supporters. The job
seeker is that Vet or family member that is looking for their first job after the service or for better employment opportunities. The employer, who we call our community partners. Some are looking to hire new team members and others are looking for the right candidate with specific skills and experience. Our supports (aka the beer enthusiasts) are Vets, family and members of the community looking to meet other QCA Vets and help anyway they can. If you are an employer that is looking for a team member that will show up every day, at the right place at the right time ready to work, then you are looking for a Veteran. Are you looking for a team member with leadership skills, can work as part of a team, takes the initiative and is trainable? Then you are definitely looking for a Veteran.
