Registered Sonographer (Full Time)

About the Role:
The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to all patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Will also perform cardiac and vascular procedures.

Related Experience:
· Certified and in good standing with ARDMS
· 2 years experience in ultrasound
· ARRT (preferred)
· BLS (within 90 days of employment)

Responsibilities:
· Performs ultrasound imaging examinations as ordered
· Explains procedures to patients
· Completes appropriate work sheets for each exam
· Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis.
· Maintains records of examinations performed
· Assists with patient scheduling
· Assists in radiology department as needed

Schedule:
Full Time, M-F dayshift
No call or weekends

I am so proud of this group!!! The last class at MAC, one of the best we've ever had, and they are killing the registry exams! SO thankful to finish out this era with this particular group because they went out with a bang and one of the best pass rates we've ever had. Congratulations to each of them.
