As we age, staying mobile becomes one of the biggest factors in remaining independent.
For many seniors, the issue is not just “weakness” or “getting older.” It can be a combination of tight muscles, painful joints, reduced balance, limited range of motion, and a fear of falling.
That is where massage therapy and appropriate exercise can work well together.
Massage may help reduce pain, improve comfort, ease muscle tension, and support better movement. Exercise helps build strength, balance, endurance, and confidence. The CDC recommends that adults 65 and older include aerobic activity, muscle-strengthening activity, and balance work as part of their weekly routine.
At Help Comes Home, our goal is not simply to help someone feel better for an hour. Our goal is to help them move better, feel steadier, and maintain as much independence as possible.
Small improvements matter.
Getting out of a chair more easily.
Walking with more confidence.
Reaching overhead with less discomfort.
Standing longer without fatigue.
Feeling safer while moving around the house.
For seniors (as for everyone), mobility is not just fitness, it is freedom.
