Opening up a fresh canvas! What can YOU see living in this tree?! 🌲👀

The curves, knots, and grain all have a say in what comes next. A few cuts in, and the possibilities are taking shape! 🪵⚡️

Drop your ideas below and follow along as this stump gets a new life.

Finishing a carving always feels a little like walking on the moon. After days of sawdust, problem solving, and watching an idea slowly take shape, that final step back feels weightless. The Police found the words for it. 🌙

I’m taking on-site carving bookings for my Southwest winter route, with stops around Sonoma, Big Sur, Ventura/Malibu, San Diego, Phoenix, Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff, and more. If you have a stump or an idea waiting to come to life, send me a message.

End-of-day progress. There’s still plenty of wood to remove, but the character is beginning to emerge. Back at it tomorrow!

Another stump, another story waiting to take shape.

Have a stump you’d like transformed? Send me a message to discuss your ideas.

Bringing a legend to life, one cut at a time. This larger-than-life Sasquatch emerged from a solid log, carved with plenty of character and Northwest spirit.

Have a log or stump that deserves a transformation? Send me a message, I travel nationwide for custom carvings.

What shall we find next?! Any ideas?

Always nice when my coworker decides to show up, usually once all the hard work is done and it’s time for the photo. 😂

Blessed to have such dependable help by my side.

I figured out my choice a long time ago and somehow, I’m still getting away with both. 😜Proud to make a living creating art with a chainsaw.

I’ll be traveling throughout the Southwest this winter, with limited availability for on-site carvings and custom projects. Send me a message if you’d like to bring an idea to life.

Carved during a competition in the summer of 2024, this eagle was all about capturing power and movement in wood.

This winter, I’m hitting the road with carving availability throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico, and other parts of the Southwest. Traveling to create one-of-a-kind sculptures is what I do for a living.

Have a stump or an idea waiting to take shape? Send me a message, as I may be carving near you soon! 🦅

Requested by the homeowners and carved on-site from their own tree, this breaching orca now has a permanent home right where it grew.

Have a stump you’d like transformed? I travel directly to each property, creating one-of-a-kind sculptures across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

📩 Message me to discuss your project.
