Every year, there's people advocating for privacy on the Internet, but thing is though, you have no control on where that Internet data goes in and out, whether it be datacenters from all around the world or random people. You have to learn how to avoid malicious scam sites and trusting people that you don't know, especially when they offer things that are too good to be true.
And then we got this, Really Wireless, a carrier who thinks that they have the right to charge THIS much outright for service that could be matched by $45-55 dollar offerings from other MVNOs like Visible, Metro, & Cricket. I don't care if there's a limited time offer or if they fake that "next 5,000 subscribers" thing for the Sponsored pages, they do NOT offer any multi-line discounts, making it an absolute terrible value. I stumbled upon this from a Facebook sponsored ad, and I'm going to look into it so you don't have to.
Before taxes/fees, this Limitless plan is $99 a month and only includes an atrocious 10GB of hotspot. That is laughable, and with a price point comparable to the most expensive premium plans like T-Mobile's Experience Beyond. Keep in mind they use T-Mobile's cellular towers as this is what their Facebook ads are actually based on.
You get a lot more bang for your buck if you went straight to the Experience Beyond plan with T-Mobile. You get the best priority data, unlimited hotspot that can replace your home Internet, and even better; satellite connectivity.
Fact. T-Mobile Experience Beyond is $260 for 5 lines with AutoPay
Really Limitless caps out at $495 for 5 lines. They do NOT offer any multi-line discounts, so you're spending $495 before taxes/flat-rate fees for 5 lines on Really. That is atrocious! You could've saved that money for like food or something. I can tell you NOBODY is going to spend this much on Really Wireless. There's no point on that, especially when Experience Beyond is right there with much more bang for your buck.
The idea of having a MVNO advertise privacy as a selling point is just silly to me. especially when their features are already crucial parts of other carriers. International calling or roaming is kind of niche, but then again, nobody's going to spend $99 before taxes/fees on this kind of MVNO that already has a niche community that is only there because of the Facebook ads.
Simply put, as BrainPop said in Digital Etiquette, once something is out, it's out. The only reason that you would use a VPN is to connect to your corporate network to access data stored on those servers, etc, or in the case of NordVPN programs, to access region-locked streaming services. Be sure to renew your passwords every so often incase your accounts were subject to one of those data breaches.
