Goose Ridge Vineyards and Estate Winery is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery dedicated to limited production, handcrafted wines from select, estate-grown grapes. The Monson family's vineyard was established in 1998 under the direction of Dr. Walter Clore, Father of the Washington Wine Industry. The 2,200 acre vineyard is planted on a south-facing slope in Washington's Columbia Valley

appellation adjacent to Red Mountain and consistently yields fruit of exceptional character and complexity. The Estate Winery is dedicated to handcrafting exquisite Bordeaux and Rhone varietal wines.

Today we’re celebrating two June 14 traditions Flag Day and National Rosé Day. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 The American flag was officially adopted on June 14, 1777.

🇺🇸 The 13 stripes represent the original colonies, while the 50 stars represent the 50 states.

🍷 Rosé gets its signature color from a brief time spent in contact with red grape skins.

🍷 It’s one of the oldest styles of wine in the world.

Happy National Rosé Day!

Rosé and fried chicken are proof that some of summer’s best pairings don’t take themselves too seriously.

A chilled glass of Rosé, crispy fried chicken, sunshine and good company that’s a recipe we can get behind.

🍗 Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients:
• 8 pieces chicken
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• Oil for frying

Directions:

1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours.
2. Mix flour and seasonings together.
3. Dredge chicken until well coated.
4. Fry at 350°F until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Pour a glass of chilled Rosé and enjoy.

Too hot to cook? We won’t judge. Fried chicken is one of the few leftovers that’s just as delicious served cold and Rosé is always best served chilled.

Join us today from 12–6 PM at our Leavenworth Tasting Room for a special opportunity to meet Ken Henke Henke Imagery the featured artist behind this season’s Goose Ridge Cellar Select collection.

Spend time with the artist behind the beautiful photography featured on our Cellar Select bottles, hear the stories behind each image, learn about the places and travels that inspired them, and enjoy the opportunity to have your bottles personally signed.

Ken will be in the tasting room throughout the day with a selection of fine art prints available for purchase and will be signing bottles for guests.

As a Pacific Northwest landscape photographer, Ken’s work captures the quiet beauty of wild places—from rugged coastlines and mountain vistas to rolling hills and dramatic skies. His images invite us to slow down and appreciate the landscapes that surround us.

There’s something special about meeting the artist whose work you’re taking home and enjoying a glass of wine while you do it.
