Just to let everyone know that follows me on this page, I closed down my LLC and selling Phowler Boats. My decision as the sales were very slow lately, dealing with/in the retail world and the time it takes - just wasn't the fun it could be/was in the past. Still here to help advise and answer questions.

Why I always recommend the floating handle option on your Copperhead. This allows the handle to float and stay in your hand/control when the tailshaft hits something.

With everything freezing up or getting rained on(finally) you should think about lubricating you throttle cable.
The easiest and best way to do this is with a cable lubricator like the one pictured. You will also need a quality spray grease- absolutely not WD 40 or similar as it attracts moisture that will freeze your cable - lock it up.
These are cheap to prevent throttle lock up. Easy to follow instructions included
Note - take a picture of both ends of cable to help reinstall - especially the carb end and the positioning of the cable in the lock down. This is from my own experience. The cable lock down determines how much travel the cable has.

So many times I see the same. Will whatever it is not wait for 60 - 90 min or even after the event. It's not life or death to be on the phone texting. Turn it off for a few hours. Get rid of the stress/anticipation the phone provides.
