Conflict is never fun. In fact, imagining conflict often brings to mind massive explosions, bloody battles, and hard-charging opponents ready to fight to the death.

Winning is extremely pervasive in our culture. We have even created a hashtag . Years ago, I thought the goal of getting through conflict was to “win” by whatever means necessary. I used my intellect or sharp wit to put my “opponent” in check.
