🏡 Pennsylvania Home Care: A Caregiver’s Role Matters

Did you know? Home care caregivers in Pennsylvania play an important role in helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own homes.

As a caregiver, your responsibilities may include helping with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility, companionship, and other activities of daily living—depending on the individual’s authorized service plan and your assigned duties.

💙 A few important reminders for caregivers:

Always follow the participant’s authorized care plan and your agency’s policies.
Document your services accurately and completely.
Follow required EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) procedures when applicable.
Protect the participant’s privacy and confidentiality.
Report changes in the participant’s condition or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
Treat every participant with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion.
Remember that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day.

*Annville 30 hrs per week male client English speaker.
*Lebanon 16 hrs per week female client Spanish. (hrs are for Saturday and Sunday)
*Palmyra 10am-6pm Monday thru Friday Male client english speaker (he smokes in the home)
