While we only take #1 & #2 plastics, Westmoreland Cleanways will take all types of plastics.

The next stop, over to the left, is the plastic bins. Any plastic container with number 1 - 7 can be placed here. Please make sure the food has been rinsed out. If you are putting water or pop bottles in, make sure the lid is securely attached or don't include it. Small pieces like lids and straws cause jams in the recycling process.

Can you find one morning a week? Or a month? Or every once in a while? We depend on volunteers every day we’re open. As some of our volunteers need time off for surgeries or injuries, we need extra hands. We have a nice group of folks who will welcome you. Please consider helping out at Leechburg Recycling Center! Just stop in and talk to anyone during operating hours to get started ☺️
