THIS POSITION

The Packer is responsible for overseeing the products that are produced by our machines by taking them off the machines and packing them appropriately in boxes. This is a fast-paced role that requires standing for up to three hours at a time and swift walking between machines.

Some key responsibilities include:

Monitoring up to five machines at a time to ensure products are not overflowing and machines are cleared from excess products
Examining products for defects at a fast pace
Counting products and placing them in boxes
Assembling boxes to prepare to pack products
Moving from machine to machine

HOURS

The hours for this position are 7:00 pm - 7:00 am overnight. This position follows a rotating schedule which will include some weekends. The shift schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days off.

WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL PACKER?

The most successful people in this role:

Place high priority on attendance and reliability. They show up to work on time consistently and are very reliable.
Are able to work with minimal guidance and oversight
Are detail-oriented and able to quickly spot errors or defects
Work well in noisy environments and are not easily distracted
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal interaction with peers
Are able to stand and walk/move for hours at a time

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1 year of work experience
Experience working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred

The Packer is part of our plastic manufacturing operations and is responsible for overseeing the products that are produced by our machines by taking them off the machines and packing them appropriately in boxes. This is a fast-paced, manufacturing role that requires standing for up to three hours at a time and swift walking between machines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Printing Maintenance Technician provides technical support to the printing team by ensuring that the machines are maintained and operating at optimum efficiency. Technicians are responsible for changeovers and preventative maintenance on all printing machines, communicating machine issues, reporting performance and repairs to Team Members and Management. They are responsible for completing required documentation, work orders, log books and company records.

HOURS
We have a 2nd shift and 3rd shift position available.
2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday
3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7:00 am, Monday - Friday

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Experience in a maintenance role in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Experience in printing maintenance preferred, but not required
Ability to make repairs using machine shop equipment
Ability to replace bearings, bushings, shafts, gears and belts
Must be able to read and understand blueprints
Good basic understanding of the principles of pneumatics
Proficient in the use of mechanics’ hand tools and in using precision measuring tools

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

The Material Handler is responsible for taking boxes of products off a conveyor system and stacking them up to 8 feet high according to safety guidelines and customer expectations. This position will utilize a pallet jack to move stacks of boxes from one location to the next by foot.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

- Have worked in a production/manufacturing environment
- Be comfortable walking and standing for up to three hours at a time
- Be able to reach above shoulder height and lift heavy boxes
- Be detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Have a track record of good attendance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be able to:

- Provide proper packaging to work stations according to the Bills of Material.
- Palletize packaged product per specifications.
- Monitor tape dispensers for workability and change rolls as needed.
- Remove scrap from Molding Department and place in scrap area.
- Clean corrugated staging area and bail scrap corrugated.
- Perform routine cleaning of production areas.
- Empty trash receptacles.
- Perform work in a timely fashion
- Perform and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Check print on Ink Jet Printers for malfunctions

HOURS

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 11:00pm.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds or more and reach shoulder height and above on a regular basis.
Must perform work in accordance to safety standards and required PPE's
