In her new role as COO of Lineworks, Kelly was responsible for the day-to-day activities of a $20M sales agency in the wholesale gift and home industry. She was responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Linework’s services. Kelly led by developing and cascading the organization’s strategy to management team and staff. She implemented rewards and recognition programs which incentivized staff to contribute to the company’s strategic goals. Thanks to Kelly’s successful marketing campaign, Lineworks improved its visibility and reputation throughout the gift and home industry. Lineworks received high praise from the industry press when Kelly created the industry’s first customer loyalty program, “Lineworks Rewards.”
Kelly is a pioneer of the use of Social Media in the gift and home industry, being first in the industry to create a presence on Facebook. Kelly has been featured in several trade publications sharing her expertise on the topic (March 2009 issue of Gifts & Decorative Accessories)
Feeling she had mastered the sales agency world, Kelly was anxious to expand her industry expertise. Her most recent position as VP of Sales and Business Development for SnapRetail gave her that opportunity. As VP of Sales and Business Development, Kelly helped launch revolutionary digital marketing technology company helping independent retailers compete with large retailers. Kelly successfully created and managed a sales team of over 500 reps, partnered in the fundraising efforts that resulted in $6 million Series A financing, partnered to create product branding by developing innovative videos and other marketing materials to support launch and gain customers, identified and consummated partnerships with trade publications and other key industry organizations, to rapidly grow customer base, and secured participation with SnapRetail from leading industry vendors .
