Beyond grateful for an incredible review from a recent bar mitzvah family. The family lives in Hawaii but is based in the Baltimore area. Our work was done navigating a 6 hour time difference, and occasionally wonky interwebz. I'm looking forward to their next celebration in a few years!

Mazal tov to Gavin and family! Gavin had an amazing bar mitzvah this morning. He read in the original Hebrew, delivered an insightful and a personal statement about the meaning of the experience. His was a special family gift purchased in Israel, and the cup he used came from his dad's own bar mitzvah. It was especially great being able to lean into excellent tech capacity from Embassy Suites to project full pages of the Mishkan T'filah siddur via the Kindle app. Everyone was "eyes up" and it was an environmentally and economically savvy solution at the same time. Can't wait to see the pro pix from Tabatha at Rodney Bailey Photography. This is the end of our 2026 bar/bat mitzvah celebrations, and already looking forward to a busy spring in 2027.

Dan and Sarah started on Hinge, and ended up Hitched! Their beautiful contemporary yet traditional interfaith ceremony was low key, and featured a gorgeous and an exquiste . Their personal vows were deeply moving, and their love for each other was reflected in the faces of their dear ones present for the occasion. Kudos to the great vendors, especially whose audio skills tamed a really hard ceremony space! Looking forward to sharing pro pix when the galleries are released.

Zane's family was delighted when he became bar mitzvah last night! He read from the Torah, shared a devar Torah and personal statement, presented an oral history, and shared about his mitzvah project. Beach cleanup where he lives in Hawaii is a big deal! BTW, the was handmade by his mom and is gorgeous. It was great to be with friends from Eldersburg Jewish Congregation for another bar mitzvah celebration!

Here's a quick informal shot with Jason and Sarah. Their ceremony was a delight, between all the personal accoutrements they incorporated and their incredible personal vows and contemporary Seven Blessings readings that complemented the traditional liturgy.
