Stone Tower Winery is a family-owned and operated winery, where our magnificent views and premium wines are equally matched by impeccable hospitality. Working with a team of top-notch viticulturists, soil specialists, and oenologists, we've created 95 acres of stunning vineyards atop Hogback Mountain in Leesburg, VA. By paying close attention to each stage in the life of our wines, from bud to grape to bottle, we create unforgettable glasses to share.

Happy International Cabernet Sauvignon Day! We are getting ready to harvest this remarkable varietal in about 3 weeks. We're expecting to harvest around 5 tons of grapes from Block X - the equivalent of about 2 adult elephants', or 40 baby elephants' weight! Cabernet Sauvignon is a "child" of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, and is considered the most tannic out of the major red grapes. On our estate, we grow 18.3 acres of this varietal. We use it to make our flagship red blend, Hogback Mountain, as well as to produce single-varietal bottlings.

We're open and pouring this Labor Day weekend! With the forecast promising beautiful weather over the entire weekend, there is no better time to visit the winery. Calling all artisans, crafters, and artists!

Do you create pottery, art, jewelry, apparel, specialty foods, holiday décor, wellness or beauty products, or other handcrafted goods? We invite you to apply to be a vendor at our annual Holiday Market taking place on November 27 & 28.

Each year, the Holiday Market welcomes numerous shoppers and provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase and sell your goods, meet new customers, and connect with the local community during the holiday season.

Happy International Pinot Noir day! Did you know that Pinot Noir is more than 2,000 years old and is considered to be one of the "founder varietals"? It is also one of the most difficult to grow grapes, and the 1-acre block on our estate is reserved for making sparkling wine. It will be one of the first vineyard blocks we are harvesting this year, beginning in just a few days.
