I’ve always wanted to build a cabin using my sawmill. Milled up 163 linear feet of pine 6x7” D logs & used the butt & pass method to build it. This shell will be for my well pump house, “pump house cabin”. Logs will be placed on treated 2x that’s on concrete, & logs will get lag screwed together. A roof will be built for it, the logs will be sanded & treated with Tim Bor professional, an excellent wood preservative treatment you can apply to wood & isn’t expensive. After all that they’ll get stained. Going to put in a door to.

Customer submitted photos of a old house restoration project. Rebuilding a lean to with true size 2x6x20s I milled. Talk about stout boards.

Cedar on the mind. A order of 8x8x10s headed out to Lake Murray for a porch build. Cedar trim boards made 3/4”x1.25-2 7/8” w/ straight edge & round over profiles, examples of what I can also offer. My favorite is the 3/8 round over. Made a bundle of white oak grade stakes also for sale. Tried my hand at a bird house to with cedar. Gotta give the birds a new house for around the yard.

Finishing the week with two trailer loads of 2” & 1” pine lumber going out. A customer brought two cedar logs, one I cut in two, to be used as strong backs, & the other into a D log style mantle. Also have started stocking the kiln dried hardwood lumber rack for sales.

A busy week catching up from the rain.
Used the heavy duty excavator brush cutter to thin out selected areas on a customers property.
Cut six 10x10x12 pine posts for a porch.
White oak 2 & 1” lumber for a trailer.
Cedar 1” display cookies for a wedding.

A busy past two weeks. Completed a portable milling job milling close to 50 logs most downed from Helene. Lots of lumber once I finished. Orders of pine & cedar lumber of all different sizes, 1”, 2”, 4x4 & 6x6, & bedding shavings out. Hollmans Outdoor Solutions LLC

Customer submitted photos of a lean to built out of pine rough cut lumber I milled for them, for the exception of the main standing posts. After 5 months roughly of air drying the stain took well. Looks awesome, & being all true size lumber, is much stronger as well. Hollmans Outdoor Solutions LLC

The Nyle kiln is loaded up with mostly red oak quarter/rift sawn 5/4 lumber w/ a few walnut/maple live edge slabs. Will be available soon. Water is steady running out the evaporator tube. Some cedar 8x8 & 1x4s picked up yesterday for a cabin project. Leesville, SC.
