First time visiting the airport to see our work hanging in the upstairs lobby. Really proud of this project and honored to have been able to participate.

It was a nice day of chalking up the sidewalk today. So glad we had a good breeze going otherwise we’d be melting.

Wow. It’s not every day that you and your art are featured on an annual report cover! We’re still so honored that we were able to be a part of this project in Sunset, LA.

Alex River Fete is scheduled for the first weekend in May. The City has opened ITS registration for Alex Fête. This is NOT the registration for Indiefête. More news about that to come; but if you want to be in the “Main Land” or you are a food vendor, you might want to get your applications in now.

Remember that Indie is produced by volunteers. All of the musicians and talent in Indie are volunteers as well. Indie is meant to provide artists who fall outside the mainstream with a place to sell their handmade, hand-crafted art and share their talents on the Indie stage.

We know it can be confusing, but we didn’t know this was happening today. While Indie is included in the festival footprint, we don’t follow the same timeline that the City of Alexandria does. We’ll share the link for the applications released today in the comments below.

FRIENDS OF THE ART PARK...we need a favor. We have completed the new big ART PARK letters in the park. We need to document some public reaction and comments for our final grant report.
