"I found Joy on the Goldback merchant map, she owns a Spa/MedSpa in Alpine, Utah. I got botox, and I was her first transaction in Goldbacks! She said that her husband had helped her sign up, but she hadn't had anyone come in to spend Goldbacks yet. She was so excited! She had a colleague at the spa working with her, and I was able to chat with them for about 10 minutes about how it works. I showed them the app, how to process a transaction, and the Goldback merchant map of other businesses."

Goldbacks may be known as beautiful spendable gold, but in Arizona, they became something more. A way to support young artists, connect with local schools, and show what it means to be a true community partner.

Students primarily used graphite pencils, while some created digital artwork. After completing their designs, they transferred their artwork onto gold cardstock

The Idaho Farm Bureau Federation has partnered with Goldback and meetings are being held throughout the state where members are learning how Goldbacks can be used as an alternate currency to help keep more of their hard earned money in their pockets! Local farms and ranches make great Goldback merchants with many of them having farm to table businesses that thrive on good old fashioned hard work and an honest deal!
