DOES CLEANING MY DRYER VENT LOWER MY ENERGY BILLS?

Yes, by having your dryer vent professionally cleaned, your clothes dryer will run more efficiently. Your dryer will not have to run as long, lessening the wear and tear on your dryer, reducing your need for repair and lengthening the life of your dryer.

Up to 6% of a home’s energy consumption can be attributed to the clothes dryer. It can cost 40¢ per hour, similar to the cost of operating a water heater. The simplest method to reduce the energy cost of a clothes dryer is to clean out the accumulated lint before using it.
Regular cleaning of the dryer vent can also save significant amounts from your monthly electric bill.
