Firefighter Fields and his family welcomed sweet baby Harper this week! 🎀

Harper made her grand entrance on October 6, 2026, weighing 9 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 24¼ inches long! 🍼💗

Mom, Dad, and big siblings are overjoyed to welcome Harper to the family, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

If that sweet little face doesn’t make you smile, we don’t know what will! 🥰

This week, 10 of our full-time employees completed their Car Seat Safety Technician training! 🚗👶
The class wrapped up with a hands-on car seat inspection event held at our main station, giving our newly trained technicians an opportunity to put their skills into practice and help families ensure their child’s car seat is installed correctly and safely.

We’re proud to continue expanding our team’s knowledge and our ability to serve and protect the families in our community.

Sealed Bid Notice — 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe
Leicester Fire Department is accepting sealed bids for a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe.
The vehicle is in good to fair mechanical condition and poor overall cosmetic condition. The Tahoe has been owned and operated by the department since it was purchased new.

All emergency lighting and department decals will be removed prior to delivery.

Bid deadline: 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2026
Opening of the sealed submitted bids: Monday, October 26, 2026, during our regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting
Vehicle inspection: Monday–Friday at our main station

The vehicle remains in service, so mileage will continue to increase over the next several weeks.
