Nestled in the picturesque farmland of Mahaska County, family-owned, Tassel Ridge Winery "takes Midwest wine making to new heights." Our skilled wine making team crafts superior quality, award-winning wines in our state-of-the-art cellar. All of our wines are fermented, blended, and bottled on-site and include dry red and white, semi-sweet, and sweet wines, fizzy wines, dessert wines, fruit wines, and an iced wine. Many of our wines are made from the 11 varieties of cold climate grapes we grow in our 66 acres of vineyards. Our cold climate white grape varieties include Edelweiss, Brianna, La Crescent, St. Pepin, and La Crosse, and our red varieties include Marquette, St. Croix, Sabrevois, Frontenac, Steuben, and Marechal Foch.
